Effective 20 August 2026
PlayAway is operated by Athletic Innovations, Inc.
PlayAway provides technology that helps families and athletes find scouts and trainers, book sessions with them, and keep a record of the development that follows. It also provides team and organization tools.
PlayAway does not itself deliver the scouting or training session.
You may create an account yourself, or an account may be created for you by a PlayAway administrator or an organization administrator.
Athletes under 13 cannot create their own account. A parent or guardian registers and manages participation on their behalf.
You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Authority. You may use only the account, role, organization membership, athlete relationship or professional profile you are authorised to use. You may not claim authority over an athlete, team, organization or professional profile that you do not have.
Accounts may be suspended where these Terms are broken, or where we believe someone's safety is at risk.
PlayAway is used in youth sports, and accounts belonging to minors are expected.
Athletes under 13 cannot create their own account. Under-13 self-signup will not be enabled until a parental or guardian consent process is implemented. Until then a parent or guardian registers and manages participation on the athlete's behalf.
A parent or guardian who manages an athlete's participation is responsible for what they do on that athlete's behalf. Additional privacy controls apply to accounts belonging to people under 18.
If you offer services as a scout or trainer:
Additional Provider Terms and Youth Safety Standards may apply. Where those documents apply, they form part of your obligations on PlayAway.
Stated plainly, because assuming otherwise would be reasonable and wrong:
Parents and guardians remain responsible for deciding whether a particular professional and session are appropriate for the athlete they manage. PlayAway's provider approval process should not be treated as a background check, identity verification or safety screening.
You must not:
Reporting. If something concerns you, contact us at contact@playaway.games. There is currently no in-product reporting or blocking feature; a safety policy and reporting mechanism are planned.
You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant PlayAway the permission needed to operate the service — storing it, and showing it to the people the product is designed to show it to, such as a professional you have booked or a guardian linked to an athlete.
Where Session Records are enabled, records created by a professional remain private to authorised users unless and until the professional shares the customer-visible portion with the athlete or an authorised guardian. Provider-private notes are never part of the customer-facing record.
PlayAway is under active development.
Access to a feature may depend on account type, role, approval status, geographic or staged rollout, or other eligibility criteria. Seeing a feature described by PlayAway does not guarantee it is enabled for a particular account. Features may change or be withdrawn.
You may stop using PlayAway at any time. Account deletion is currently a manual request rather than a self-service action; contact us at contact@playaway.games.
We may suspend or end access where these Terms are broken, or where we believe it is necessary for someone's safety.
Each version of these Terms is retained with its full text, so it is always possible to establish what a person agreed to and when.
When these Terms change, PlayAway may require acceptance of a new version before continued use where appropriate. Other changes may be communicated by notice.
