PlayAway is a product of Athletic Innovations, Inc. It connects families and athletes with sports professionals — scouts and trainers — for individual sessions, and provides team and organization tools.

PlayAway does not intentionally collect information from you through forms, cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or third-party scripts. The public pages set no cookies and run no scripts.
The pages do request typefaces from Google Fonts, which may receive technical request information such as your IP address.
Our infrastructure providers also generate operational logs — see Information generated automatically below.

We also record when you ticked the consent box, your browser's user-agent string, and a pseudonymous value derived from request network information rather than the IP address itself, to limit automated abuse of the form.
We do not describe that value as anonymous: it is a pseudonym, and depending on what it can be linked to it may still be personal information.
Submitting the form does not create an account.
Independently of anything the product asks for, the services that run PlayAway generate operational and security logs. These are created by the providers below, not by PlayAway's own code, and may contain IP addresses, timestamps, request paths, and browser or device information.

Our systems include fields for medical notes, emergency contact details and home address. We do not collect these, no part of the product asks for them, and they are empty for every account. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

PlayAway serves youth sports, so accounts belonging to minors are expected.
PlayAway does not currently offer public self-registration; accounts are provisioned administratively. PlayAway nevertheless maintains youth-related account and roster information, which reaches the platform through administrative provisioning and team rosters.
Where a date of birth is available, we determine whether an account belongs to someone under 13. That determination records only that guardian consent would be required — it is not a record that consent was obtained, and PlayAway does not currently operate a verifiable parental-consent process.
Under-13 self-signup is not available, and will not be enabled until a parental-consent process is in place.
For accounts belonging to people under 18, the mobile application applies additional privacy controls to photographs and direct messages.

Within the product, information is shared as the service requires: a professional you book sees the booking and the athlete it concerns; a verified guardian can see their linked athlete's bookings; administrators can see account records for support and safety.
Account and booking records currently persist for the life of the account.
Some records are append-only by design — audit logs, booking history and revisions to session records — because they exist to establish what happened and when. A deletion request therefore cannot remove every trace of past activity, and we will tell you what can and cannot be removed.
We are developing a written retention and deletion schedule, including how identifiers held in append-only records are treated.
Data is stored with our hosting provider, and access is restricted by role-based rules enforced in the database itself rather than only in the application.
Authentication credentials are handled by our authentication provider. PlayAway does not store users' plaintext passwords in its application database.
Each version of this policy is retained with its full text, so it is always possible to establish what a person was shown and when. Material changes will be notified in the product.
